HS Timber Group Expands Its Reach with Acquisition of Kurekss SIA

HS Timber Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Kurekss SIA, a major Latvian wood processing company, as part of its strategic expansion into the Baltic region. This follows the earlier acquisition of Vika Wood SIA in January 2025. With an annual production capacity of 250,000 m³ of kiln-dried sawn timber, Kurekss strengthens HS Timber Group’s market presence. Additionally, the acquisition includes the pellet manufacturing business Kurzemes Granulas. This move supports the group’s continued growth and solidifies its position as a leading European wood processing company.
